PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE

I was given a very nice compliment today while in my Bikram class this morning. I was feeling pretty strong about my overall practice and I have been making an effort to get there each day this week which makes a huge difference in my practice and ability to go deeper.

This morning as I was getting ready for work a gentleman who is a real regular to the Bikram studio and our instructor’s father approached me and said what a professional and precise practice I have.  My practice was beautiful and my old school Bikram of no water or towel was amazing and fun to watch.

I carried those kind words around with me all day today.  It was such a nice compliment especially since I was feeling like I needed to start over and that my practice and motivation for Bikram haven’t been where they use to be.  I really do love the feeling that Bikram gives me and as far as working hard in yoga I don’t work harder anywhere else.  I don’t know if my 5 year plan is taking me to the school of Bikram but it certainly had me thinking about it today with a “professional, precise and beautiful practice”

    Hi Nicole,
I was diagnosed with MCTD a little over a year ago. Prior to that misdiagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis. I’m very happy to have found your blog because I haven’t been able to find very much information on MCTD. I read your post where you mentioned your “hair hurts” oh man can I relate to that! Thank you for sharing your experiences here.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. I understand the challenges you are faced with living with MCTD and although every day will be different there are spreads of great days. I wish you luck in your journey and anytime you need to check in please do. I will write about all kinds of things personal and otherwise because the truth is this disease brings on many challenges I and we as a community deal with.

      Nicole
